Return Procedure and Warranty Policy

Returns Procedure

All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Email (customerservice@beckettair.com) or call (1-800-831-7839) the Customer Service Department and request a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Once an RGA number is issued, return instructions will be provided including method of shipment and BAI account number.

We will need the following information:

  • Purchaser/Business name, account number and invoice number
  • Reason for return. If defective, describe specifically what is wrong.
  • Merchandise should be packaged in such a way as to protect the product and its original packaging (if requested).
  • Clearly mark the RGA number on the outside of the shipping box.

WARRANTY

Subject to the limitations set forth below, Beckett Air Incorporated (“BAI”) warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of sale.

BAI’s products are a part of a larger system for which BAI has no control. The final responsibility for the correct selection and suitable application of all BAI products rests with the Customer. The Customer must thoroughly evaluate prototypes of the products sold by BAI as part of the customer’s entire system. This evaluation must include, but not limited to motor loading, noise and vibration characteristics, maximum RPM as specified in the BAI catalog, maximum ambient temperature dependent on material, maximum start up and running torque, and any other characteristics which may be application dependent.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING:

A. PRODUCTS WHICH ARE SUBJECTED TO MISUSE, MISAPPLICATION, NEGLECT, OR ACCIDENT.

B. SHIPPING DAMAGE DURING TRANSIT. ALL SALES ARE F.O.B. BECKETT AIR’S PLANT AND SHIPPING DAMAGE MUST BE CLAIMED AGAINST THE TRANSIT COMPANY.

C. ANY DAMAGE FROM MISHANDLING WHICH MAY OCCUR AT THE CUSTOMER’S LOCATION. (BY WAY OF EXAMPLE, BLOWER WHEEL DIMENSIONS, INCLUDING CONCENTRICITY, RUNOUT AND BALANCE ARE CRITICAL TO APPLICATIONS AND MISHANDLING MAY RENDER THEM USELESS. BAI DOES NOT COVER SUCH MISHANDLING UNDER THIS WARRANTY.)    

IN THE EVENT THAT BAI’S PRODUCTS ARE FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE IN MATERIAL, AND/OR WORKMANSHIP, BAI’S LIABILITY IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE REPLACEMENT OF THE PROCUCT. BAI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LABOR REQUIRED TO REPLACE ANY PRODUCT, EITHER AT THE CUSTOMER’S LOCATION OR IN THE FIELD.

BAI should be contacted immediately when a warranty concern arises. In the event that product is to be returned, an RGA number and shipping instructions will be given.

THIS WARRANTY AND THE OBLIGATIONS OF BAI HEREUNDER ARE IN LIEU OF AND CUSTOMER EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, CONDITIONS OR LIABILITIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY LAW OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

This warranty is limited to the terms set forth above and shall not be extended, shared, varied or modified except by a written signed instrument signed by both the customer and the President of BAI.
